SHIELD offers a variety of technical services aimed at improving overall safety performace. Our goal is to assist in lowering injury frequency while increasing productivity and lowering operating costs. |

OSHA Training |
OSHA 10-HOUR
Courses covering the Construction (1926) and General Industry (1910) standards are available. This entry level training hones employee awareness of hazards on the job. |
OSHA 30-HOUR
Also available in Construction or General Industry, this four-day class explores the standards in detail. This class is aimed at supervision and safety personnel who need to understand the law and be able to formulate solutions.

OSHA 500 Series
These weeklong sessions, also known as "train the trainer," give employees the authorization to instruct OSHA 10- and 30-hour classes. Students must have at least an OSHA 30-hour card AND a minimum of five years experience in occupational safety and health. Additional requirements will be in place starting in April 2009. |
